THE BIRDS

Birds are beautiful feathered living things,
They fly with the help of their wings.
Birds have strong flight muscles,
I think they should live in castles.
Birds are always soaring high,
I think that they practically live in the sky.
If they cost you a wage,
Then why to lock them in a cage?
Let them fly in an empty space
Oh!There is nothing more beautiful then them in this place!

The Moon

The sun is setting,
I know that you are getting
The look of sleep
As soon as the sun comes to the length of a peep.
Out comes the moon, as soon as it comes
It shines bright,
With light
That can light the whole night,
In one single beam
And the light will stream into the houses of the people who are snoring,
That too at 12:00 in the midnight!
(What a surprise!)

Unreasonable Man

George Bernard Shaw once said " The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself . Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

Do I want to be more unreasonable? Any comments, Any one?

Initial Musings - The Road to Reality

Welcome to my First Blog.

My state of mind while attempting this first blog is similar to my every first conscious effort. There is some mystery, trepidation, excitement, nervousness and just do it impulse. There is confusion around why I should do this, what will I gain (rational mind).

As I think about a topic for my first Blog. I am thinking about my experiences over past few days, what have been most frequent thoughts in last couple of days. As it comes to pass I have been wondering about the laws governing the universe. Why am i wondering, Children wonder. But now that I think it is beautiful feeling to wonder. I have been always been reading about Universe and various theories of Cosmology, Quantum Physics, Evolution(Darwin).
Mostly it is through my reading of books on these subjects. As it stands for last 3 weeks I have been reading the following 2 books

Parallel Worlds by Michio Kaku
The Road to Reality - A complete guide to the laws of the universe - Roger Penrose

Both books deal with Physics of very small(Quantum world) to Physics of very large(Cosmology). The first book 'Paralell worlds' is like fast paced thriller - A la Brief history of Time(Stephen Hawkins), or Bourne Identity (Robert Ludlum).

The second book 'Road to Reality' is like a Magnum opus, War and Peace (Leo Tolstoy) or Les Miserables (Victor Hugo) every character is defned in detail before the interactions between characters are presented and conclusions drawn.

I have completed my first book and am in process of reading the second.

I will share some the nuggets from my readings in the blog going forward.
